Anniversary Post and a SALE for you!

This image is from the wonderful Small Magazine, which I just discovered this week after being featured in this oceany red and pink layout. I also awoke today to find Wondercabinet featured in My Love for your is a Stampede of Horses, an utterly fantastic art blog. Oh, happy day.
I am also happy because this week marks the one-year anniversary of me selling my work online. Its been a truly liberating and delightful thing to do. I think all artists should be completely in charge of how their work gets seen and sold, and there is really nothing like selling directly to your buyers, however you can do it. What a blast. I've had so many lovely and wonderful interactions with so many people through doing this, and the satisfaction that comes with making work that is accessible and affordable and easy for people to buy. It allows me to continue a studio practice that is completely non-commercial as well (my large-scale sculptures) and each day I am perfecting the art of how to have the best of both worlds. Its hard sometimes, and I am not making it work yet 100%, but every day gets me closer, and its stays fun because of all the fabulous and inspiring people I have met along the way. I feel so appreciative of being an artist among artists and crafters...
So in honor of my anniversary, I am offering:
Free shipping all week on any wondercabinet art
...PLUS: a little original, handmade surprise included with your order. (from now through Saturday night, March 8). Mention in your "note to seller" when you purchase the art that you read about this sale here, and I will refund the shipping charges through Paypal. This applies to national (USA) and international sales. Thank you and enjoy!
Amy, isn't it wonderful that the web enables so many people to see your work. You just never know when you get up in the morning who will have discovered you.
Congratulations!
Love,
Mom

I just wanted to drop a little note, thanking you for providing such amazing pieces and being an all-around cool person. In a way, I feel as though I've been along the trip with you this past year. It has always been exciting to waking up and check your shop and see what's new. It has been an honor and a privilege to collect your prints and bear witness to your continued creative process.
Congratulations on all your successes this past year, and for all the many years to come!
