Goodbye KickballMedia, hello AmyWalsh.

Hi folks,

If any of you have tried to go to my web site of sculpture and installation lately, kickballmedia.com, you will have found an alarming black and red page that says WARNING! ATTACK SITE! That's because my site got hacked and Malware was installed on all its pages. Trauma!!! I have spent some time trying to clean up the site and have Google re-review it and take it off the blacklist, but to no avail.

So, I decided its time to retire that URL (kickballmedia) anyway. Kickball Media Works was a company I ran in the 90's with my dear friend Han Wang (who makes amazing music with his band The Invisible Cities). We made web sites and did other neato design projects back when it was really hot stuff to know how to make a web site. Our original domain name was kickball.com, so lovely and simple, but the World Kickball Association really wanted it and I eventually couldn't refuse them (or the money they offered for it!) - so kickballmedia was born, and I have used it ever since for my artwork and design projects as they have evolved over time.

But I don't do business by that name any more, so it doesn't have much but sentimental value to me (though it does have heaps of that).

It's time for my new domain name and a whole new web presence for me, integrating my prints and 2D work with my sculpture and installation work. I finally got it all set up today, and its:

There is a placeholder there now with links to my shop, this blog, my Twitter, Flickr and Facebook accounts, but before long I will launch a whole new Amy Walsh web site which will completely change the world. forever. Or at least make my web presence a little more reasonable and orderly and content-rich. Bookmark it!
